I am going to keep this one short and sweet since I have had a busy week and haven't gotten a chance to write my usual long game recap. The Jets fell behind early and really gave themselves no chance to win this game. The blocked punt at the end of the first half gave the Jets some life heading into halftime but it was to little to late. The defense came out to play in the second half and Sanchez was able to make a few plays but it wasn't enough to mount a comeback against the Pats. The Jets came into this game with extremely low playoff hopes and exited the game with even lower ones.
We entered the game watching the progression of Sanchez. He did not play a good game in this one and there are even thoughts that he should have been pulled. He will need to start showing some better progression in the coming weeks to instill hope in Jets fans again.
Jay Glazer has reported on his twitter that Kerry Rhodes is going to be benched this week. More details to come.
